How to reach us

We read every message. The best way to get a useful answer is to include:

  • Your USDA hardiness zone (we cover zones 5 and 6, but we answer questions from anywhere)
  • A brief description of your soil — sand, clay, loam, or "I have not checked yet"
  • The specific plant or problem you are asking about, with as much detail as you have

Corrections and updates

Found something wrong in one of our guides? We update articles when the evidence changes, and we note the revision date on the page. Send the article link and the specific issue, and we will review it against our sources within two weeks. If we agree, we update the guide and credit you in the revision notes.

Editorial inquiries
